Justice Malala

Justice Malala is a political commentator and newspaper columnist. Malala writes regular weekly columns for The Times newspaper and the Financial Mail magazine. He is the resident political analyst for e.tv and eNews Channel Africa. He also presents a weekly political talk show (The Justice Factor on eNCA and eTV, Mondays at 8.30pm). Between 2007 and September 2011 Malala was general manager of Avusa Media (now Times Media Group)’s stable of 44 magazines and, following that, general manager of the Sowetan and Sunday World newspapers.

 


 

Konrad Wrona

Konrad Wrona is a Visiting Research Professor, Military University of Technology, Warsaw, Poland. He has almost 20 years of work experience in an industrial (Ericsson Research and SAP Research) and in an academic (RWTH Aachen University, Media Lab Europe, and Rutgers University) research and development environment. He has received his M.Eng. in Telecommunications from Warsaw University of Technology, Poland in 1998, and his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2005. 

 


Keith Makan

Analysing software for security vulnerabilities and developing new ways to discover and exploit software is what gets Keith Makan out of bed in the morning. As an an IT Advisory and Penetration Tester, he also tries to spend as much of his time as possible mastering security testing techniques and developing ways to detect and exploit vulnerabilities. His aim is to further the state of the software security assessment art. 

 


Roderick Mooi

Roderick currently manages the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) of the South African National Research Network (SANReN), providing proactive IT security services to South African universities, science councils and research institutions (https://csirt.sanren.ac.za). He has an M. Tech (IT) from Nelson Mandela University (on the topic of security team establishment) and a career background including software engineering and network performance enhancement.
